GT Southwest Hose is a 30+ year old, growing industrial distribution and manufacturing company specializing in industrial hose. We are looking for an Outside Sales Representative in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  Applicants must be a reliable, trustworthy individual who value customer relationships and are a team player with a strong work ethic.

Salary is negotiable, based on experience and qualifications. Base $40,000 - $50,00 plus commission.

Outside Sales Representative Skills & Requirements:

• Must pass background check, initial hiring drug test and any random drug testing
  
• Strong working knowledge of industrial hose applications and products is a must
  
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
  
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  
• Highly energetic and self-starter
  

Outside Sales Representative’s Responsibilities Include:

• Working closely with Inside Sales team to determine essential strategic approaches for sales and customer acquisition
  
• Maintain a great partner relationship with customers
  
• Analyze customers’ requirements and engage in consultative selling with clients; identify and sell products to solve problems for new and existing customers  
  
• Provides timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries
  
• Completes work order forms   for order entry and invoicing processing
  
• Performs proactive telephone and in-person sales inquiries to investigate old or inactive customers to stimulate new sales activity with these customers and support outside sales in follow up leads
